A boat load of equipment heading to Steep Holm for the great clearance to begin.  Using contractors funded by a wind farm the task of cutting back the bracken to something closer to earlier times began.  The aim is to increase the area where sea birds can nest especially on the top of the island and widen the paths for when the birds return in the Spring.
